Real Estate Tips from Bob Rich-Pruning & Weaning

Many are the buyers who purchase a wonderful view, with a house that goes along with it. Or, surround themselves in a sense of history and live in a particular home (perhaps too small, ornate or too simple) in order to do so. As a buyer, it is most likely that you, too have your preferences in style, shape, size, layout, construction and general appearance of your “dream home”. It is likely you could reject a lot of listings because they are “too something or other,” wasting a lot of time and effort and making an otherwise pleasurable job of home seeking into a very stressful situation.
You can avoid much of this stress and conserve vast amounts of time and effort if you will share your various housing preferences with your real estate agent. Let the agent do the pruning and weaning of undesirable properties. Insist that you are shown only those listings that meet certain criteria that you have preselected and preannounced.
